DIGITAL SONS CONCEPT PROJECT — A FICTIONAL RESTAURANT, A REAL DESIGN OBSESSION.

OUR STORY / BASED ON ABSOLUTELY NO TRUE EVENTS

EVERY LOCAL
HAS A LEGEND.

Ours is made up.

Meet the imaginary neighborhood bar with a suspiciously detailed backstory. This is fiction. The affection for a great local is not.

An imagined bar with a walnut counter, warm brass lamps and oxblood leather booths
FIG. 01 — THE PLACE WE WISH WAS AROUND THE CORNER.CONCEPT IMAGERY
01 / A VERY QUESTIONABLE BUSINESS PLAN

Two brothers.
One borrowed grill.

In our fictional version of events, the Sons brothers had three things: a borrowed grill, a shoebox of their dad’s records, and strong opinions about burger buns. Neither brother was named Digital. That part still confuses their imaginary accountant.

The original business plan was written on the back of a takeout menu. It said, “Make the kind of place we’d cancel other plans for.” Underneath, in different handwriting: “Also, learn accounting.” Only one of those ideas stuck.

02 / THE ROOM THAT GOT AWAY

A little worn in.
Never worn out.

They imagined a corner spot on a street that doesn’t exist. Deep red booths. A bar polished by a thousand elbows. Lamps low enough to make everyone look like they’d had a better week. A jukebox with equal respect for soul records and questionable singalongs.

In the story, the crooked frame over booth four stays crooked because fixing it would upset the regulars. There’s also a running debate about whether a hot dog is a sandwich. The house refuses to comment.

03 / THE PART WE TAKE SERIOUSLY

Good food.
No audition required.

The fictional menu is built around food you don’t need explained: burgers with properly crisp edges, steaks worth slowing down for, wings that require a napkin strategy, and a cold drink that knows its job.

No velvet rope. No secret handshake. Just the idea that your favorite place shouldn’t make you work to feel at home. Even if, in this case, “home” is a very good website.

THE REAL STORY

Imaginary bar.
Very real craft.

Digital Sons Bar & Grille is a portfolio concept created by Digital Sons Web Co. to explore what a restaurant website can feel like when its character comes first. The restaurant, history, menu, hours and contact details are fictional. The photography is original AI-generated concept imagery.
